\nPosition Title:\u00a0Organizational Development Officer<\/p>\n
Number of Positions:\u00a0One (4)<\/p>\n
Duty Station:\u00a02 for HRNS ET Jimma Field Office and 2 for HRNS ET Bahir Dar Field Office<\/p>\n
Reports To:\u00a0Field Office Coordinator<\/p>\n
1. Core Technical Delivery<\/p>\n
Familiarize with HRNS-Ethiopia program scope to effectively support implementation.
\nMaintain updated technical knowledge through continuous professional development and in-service training.
\nUse regular farm visits to identify local needs and challenges across coffee, crops, horticulture, livestock, beekeeping, and other youth agribusinesses.
\nProvide practical guidance, demonstrations, and research-based information on improved production techniques and agribusiness opportunities.
\nCoordinate activities aimed at increasing productivity, improving product quality, promoting climate-smart practices, and supporting implementation of work plans.
\nIdentify and strengthen youth group facilitators and demonstration sites to enhance project outcomes.
\nFoster linkages and communication among value chain actors (producers, processors, marketers, etc.) to enhance market integration.
\nCollaborate with project staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating program interventions.
\n2. Monitoring & Supervision<\/p>\n
Use Commcare for the project real data collection and analysis
\nSupport and capacitate YAIG leaders\/facilitators on the use of Commcare
\nCollect and submit data using digital tools (tablets\/smartphones), ensuring timely transmission and data quality.
\nSupport and mentor other data collectors, identify data collection challenges, and report to the MEAL Officer.
\nContribute to systematic capture of field-level evidence, including lessons learned and performance insights.
\n3. Reporting and Visibility<\/p>\n
Document and share success stories, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations for learning and visibility.
\nReport program results, impacts, and outcomes in line with project requirements.
\n4. Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination<\/p>\n
Work closely with youth groups, cooperatives, community leaders, and local authorities to identify and prioritize needs, challenges, and opportunities.
\nEnsure smooth coordination and alignment across project stakeholders and partners.
\nSupport overall operational effectiveness by performing additional responsibilities as required for HRNS-Ethiopia program delivery.
