About the Job
\nThe Corporate Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and team leadership to meet organizational goals and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and logistics, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Supply Chain Management:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.<\/p>\n
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., lead times, costs, delivery accuracy) to identify areas for improvement.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues.<\/p>\n
Manage demand planning and forecasting to align inventory levels with business needs.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.<\/p>\n
Warehouse Operations:<\/p>\n
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.<\/p>\n
Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve accuracy and efficiency.<\/p>\n
Ensure proper inventory control and conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies.<\/p>\n
Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity.<\/p>\n
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular training.<\/p>\n
Team Leadership:<\/p>\n
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain and warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.<\/p>\n
Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Cost Management:<\/p>\n
Develop and manage budgets for supply chain and warehouse operations.<\/p>\n
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.<\/p>\n
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms.<\/p>\n
Technology and Innovation:<\/p>\n
Leverage technology and automation to streamline supply chain and warehouse processes.<\/p>\n
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
\nAbout You
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master\u2019s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.<\/p>\n
