The successful candidate will work closely with our team to design and produce a comprehensive toolkit that promotes the rights and well-being of children with disabilities in Ethiopia. The toolkit will aim to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to advocate for the inclusion and protection of children with disabilities.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct a thorough review of existing literature and research on child rights governance and disability inclusion in Ethiopia<\/li>\n<li>Develop a comprehensive advocacy toolkit that includes strategies, guidelines, and resources for promoting the rights and inclusion of children with disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Engage with stakeholders, including civil society organizations, government agencies, and children with disabilities, to ensure that the toolkit is relevant, effective, and user-friendly<\/li>\n<li>Design and produce a high-quality toolkit that is accessible and easy to use, including visual aids and other materials as needed<\/li>\n<li>Provide training and technical assistance to stakeholders on the use of the toolkit and the promotion of child rights governance and disability inclusion<\/li>\n<li>Develop a plan for the dissemination and implementation of the toolkit, including strategies for monitoring and evaluating its impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as law, social work, education, or disability studies, from a recognized Ethiopian university<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of experience in child rights governance, disability inclusion, or a related field, with a focus on advocacy and policy development<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of developing and implementing successful advocacy campaigns and toolkits, preferably in Ethiopia<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of the Ethiopian legal and policy framework related to child rights and disability inclusion<\/li>\n<li>Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, and develop evidence-based recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including children with disabilities, civil society organizations, and government agencies<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and Amharic, with the ability to write and communicate effectively in both languages<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the Ethiopian job market and labor laws, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic
