\nJob Summary:<\/p>\n
The training and development Specialist will create, develop, implement,\u00a0and conduct training and development programs for employees
\nDuties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Identify training and development needs through surveys, interviews focus groups and communication with managers and instructors\/trainers
\nIdentify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses of employee and recommend learning solutions.
\nDevelop unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills
\nCreate and\/or acquire training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
\nPresent\/ Communicate training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations and videos
\nMaintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
\nDevelop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
\nCollaborate with a trainer to assess, update, and revise training materials.
\nDirect structured learning experiences and evaluate the program effectiveness through assessments, surveys and feedbacks.
\nAcclimate new hires (employees) to the company and conduct orientation sessions.
\nFacilitate virtual classroom sessions
\nEvaluate learner progress through academic assessments, hands on practice, and on-the-job training.
\nMaintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development
\nPrepare and implement training budget: maintains records and reports of expenses
\nPerform other related duties as required.

Required Skills\/Abilities:<\/p>\n
Knowledge of\u00a0training strategies and principles, including adult learning theory, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
\nAbility to\u00a0design and implement effective training and development
\nTraining room management skills including\u00a0organization, time management, recognizing learner accomplishments, and correcting inappropriate behavior.
\nEmotional intelligence:\u00a0The ability to perceive the emotional state of individuals and groups; the ability to modify one\u2019s own verbal and non-verbal mannerisms to engage and build trust.
\nAdept with a variety of\u00a0multimedia training platforms and methods: proficiency with virtual training room software such as Zoom, Microsoft applications such PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
\nCommunication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skill
\nStrong presentation skill
\nEducation and Experience:<\/p>\n
