About the Job
\nJob Purpose:\u00a0to diagnose, repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical sections of all types of vehicles, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery.<\/p>\n
Main Duties and Responsibilities;<\/p>\n
Diagnose problems with vehicles, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery or engines to determine the cause of the malfunction and render solutions,
\nMaintain and overhaul vehicles, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery, hydraulic systems,
\nTo set up, adjust, install, dismantle, and repair various plant equipment, primarily mechanical service equipment and motors in the facility,
\nTests vehicles, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery to check operation, tests equipment after repairs, change overs or extended downtime,
\nMakes preventive maintenance equipment check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to chief mechanic and takes appropriate action,
\nEnsure that all repairs and maintenance performed by auto mechanic & junior mechanic are up to standards define by the company,
\nCoach and mentor other employees in the section,
\nRecord all maintenance types conducted and spare changed on the history jacket.
\nWear PPE at all time,
\nPerforms other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
\nAbout You
\nQualification<\/p>\n
Diploma \/ Certificate\/ in General Mechanics or Auto Mechanics or related field of studies.
\nExperience<\/p>\n
5 years and above of hands-on experience in heavy truck maintenance and repair.
\nSkills<\/p>\n
Problem solving skills
\nDiagnostics skills
\nCommunication
