The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Ethiopia. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact in the lives of women and girls in Ethiopia.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to prevent FGM and GBV in Ethiopia, in collaboration with government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research and analysis to identify the root causes of FGM and GBV, and develop evidence-based interventions to address these issues<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, to leverage resources and expertise<\/li>\n<li>Design and deliver training programs for healthcare providers, community leaders, and other stakeholders on FGM and GBV prevention and response<\/li>\n<li>Develop and disseminate educational materials and awareness campaigns to promote the elimination of FGM and GBV<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other teams to integrate FGM and GBV prevention into existing programs and services<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of FGM and GBV prevention programs, and make recommendations for improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree in Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field, from a recognized Ethiopian or international university<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of experience in FGM and GBV prevention, preferably in Ethiopia or a similar context<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian context, including the social, cultural, and economic factors that contribute to FGM and GBV<\/li>\n<li>Experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on community-based initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in other local languages an asset<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of registration with relevant professional associations, such as the Ethiopian Public Health Association, an
