\nThe Role
\nWe are looking for a commercially minded and hands-on Head of Finance to lead our finance function. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to senior management, and you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management \u2014 from day-to-day operations and compliance through to strategic planning and business performance. You will also directly line- manage our finance team.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Leading, managing, and developing the finance team, including oversight of finance support staff
\nOwning the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
\nPreparing management accounts, financial reports, and board-level financial summaries
\nDeveloping and managing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
\nEnsuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax and audit
\nManaging relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders
\nOverseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management
\nDriving continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and processes \u2014 including ERP management
\nProviding strategic financial insight and analysis to support business decision-making
\nPartnering with senior leadership on commercial strategy, investment decisions, and growth planning
\nReporting Line<\/p>\n
This position reports directly to senior management and carries full responsibility for the leadership of the finance function.
\nAbout You
\nSkills & Requirements<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
\nMinimum 8\u201310 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2\u20134 years in a senior leadership or management role
\nStrong technical accounting knowledge and experience managing full financial operations
\nDemonstrable experience managing and developing a finance team
\nProven ability to independently prepare the following financial reports: Statement of Financial Position, Profit or Loss & Other Comprehensive Income (OCI), Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, Debtors & Creditors Ageing Reports, Coffee Inventory Report, Cash Budget, and Bank Reconciliation Statement
\nHands-on experience using Odoo ERP system; familiarity with other similar ERP platforms (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, QuickBooks) is an advantage
\nExperience in FMCG, inventory management, or supply chain finance
\nExcellent analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
\nSound knowledge of financial regulations, tax, and compliance requirements
\nStrong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
\nDesirable:<\/p>\n
Background in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial business environment
