\nAt-Con Engineering & Architecture Consultancy Plc., a well-established and reputable consulting company based in Addis Ababa, is engaged in the design and supervision of civil engineering works, including roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and other infrastructure projects. We are seeking\u00a0One (1)\u00a0a highly qualified and experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural design, project coordination, and supervision activities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in design development, project management, and construction supervision with excellent leadership skills.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Lead architectural design development from concept to detailed design stage.
\nPrepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
\nCoordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineering teams for integrated project delivery.
\nSupervise construction works to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
\nConduct site inspections and resolve design-related issues during project execution.
\nEnsure compliance with local building codes, standards, and client requirements.
\nReview contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.
\nParticipate in client meetings, presentations, and design review sessions.
\nMentor junior architects and support the technical development of the design team.
\nApply BIM processes and standards throughout project implementation.<\/p>\n

\nMinimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree or master\u2019s degree in architecture from a recognized university.
\nMinimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and construction supervision.
\nStrong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, and other architectural design software.
\nBIM Certified with proven experience in BIM-based project delivery.
\nStrong knowledge of building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices.
\nExcellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
