\nDuties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Works order obtained for all planned activities from maintenance planner and maintenance team leader.
\nAll relevant information obtained to conduct activities \u2013 eg drawings, manufacturers manual etc.
\nSpares and tools required are located and obtained
\nJobs prioritized to maximize product quality and line intensity (within set maintenance schedule)
\nPermission to stop plant\/ process and time required is negotiated with relevant customers.
\nFeedback provided timeously to planner and maintenance team leader on deviations to schedule and on work to be completed.
\nDaily, weekly and shutdown activities executed according to schedule in work order.
\nPlant\/ process isolated as per relevant procedures.
\nMaintenance and repairs carried out as per works order meeting all the quality requirements.
\nPlant\/ equipment\/ process commissioned after job and handed over to customer for approval
\nInformation collated, documented and feedback provided to relevant customers and maintenance planner\/ team leader
\nFailures\/ problems\/ deviations on all electrical\/ automation related investigated and root causes identified, verified and corrective action taken according to procedures.
\nSpares and tools obtained using the appropriate systems as per work instruction.
\nBreakdowns repaired with the minimum production downtime.
\n2nd line support (team leader) called in immediately if it is identified that repair cannot be affected without further support.
\nReport on breakdowns & repairs carried out completed as per work instruction.
\nPlant\/ equipment\/ process commissioned after job and handed over to customer for approval
\nInformation\/ feedback collated, documented and provided to relevant customers.
\nStatutory planned maintenance activities executed according to schedule.
\nAll relevant Health & Safety legislation complied with!
\nUnsafe conditions & work practices are identified and actioned immediately.
\nRelevant safety equipment and protective clothing are utilized
\nHazardous substances are used, handled and disposed of as per procedures.
\nHealth & Safety incidents are reported & actioned as per procedures.
\nAll housekeeping standards are adhered to.
\nShift handovers conducted according to standard process.
\nAll line and equipment specific problems and outstanding work communicated to other shifts.
\nActive participation in line\u2019s production and maintenance meetings
\nAttend maintenance meetings when on day shift.
\nAll work orders completed and signed off by maintenance team leader.
\nAll reporting standards adhered to as per work instructions.
\nAll root cause analyses recorded and documented according to required format.
\nOperator controlled system and process issues identified
\nOperators coached and trained to perform activities (within their scope of expertise) to ensure proper asset maintenance.
\nCoaching provided on autonomous maintenance activities.

\nQualification:<\/p>\n
BSC Degree in Electrical Engineering or TVET\/College in Industrial\/ Electrical field.
\n3\u00a0years’ experience as\u00a0Technician\u00a0in the FMCG industry preferably in Soap & Detergent industry for BSC degree or\u00a05 years\u00a0experience as\u00a0Technician\u00a0in the FMCG industry preferably in Soap & Detergent industry for
