We are looking for a competent\u00a0Projects Document Controller\u00a0for our client\u00a0Tulu Kapi Gold Mine.<\/p>\n
This role is a contract position on a definite period contract of employment.<\/p>\n

Job Purpose<\/p>\n
The Projects Document Controller will be responsible for the administration, management, and compliance of all project documents on the Tulu Kapi construction project.
\nThe role ensures that contractual obligations are met, risks are managed, and all stakeholders operate within agreed frameworks, aligned with both Ethiopian construction regulations and international standards.
\nLocation<\/p>\n
Based in Addis Ababa for an initial period of approximately 12 months and then relocating to the Projects Office on the Tulu Kapi Mine Site in West Wollega.
\nResponsibilities and Accountabilities<\/p>\n
Manage and oversee platform to be selected (ProjectWise, Aconex or similar) and be the superuser managing permissions and workflows.
\nDevelop, implement, and maintain project-specific document control procedures and plans.
\nReview and audit incoming\/outgoing documents (drawings, lists, specs, notes, reports, etc) for compliance with standards.
\nEnsure uninterrupted appropriate access to latest revisions.
\nOrganize and archive documents for secure storage and easy retrieval.
\nGenerate status reports.
\nAbout You
\nKey Skills\/Experience Required<\/p>\n
A minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in document control, particularly within engineering and construction environments.
\nMinimum Required Qualifications<\/p>\n
Appropriate specialized training in document management and project controls.
\nLanguage Requirements<\/p>\n
Excellent written and verbal communication with language proficiency in English, Afaan Oromo and Amharic at the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) category C1: Proficient User standard.
\nCompetencies Required<\/p>\n
Proficient in MS Outlook, Office and Excel and exposure to Document Control Software.
\nPersonal attributes<\/p>\n
Highly organized with exceptional accuracy in task outputs.<\/p>\n
