The General Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-managed working environment by overseeing facility operations, fleet management, and administrative support services.
\nThe role focuses on optimizing general service operations, managing service teams, and maintaining high standards of workplace functionality, safety, and cost efficiency.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Facility & Office Management<\/p>\n
Oversee daily facility operations including office maintenance, utilities, and workspace management
\nEnsure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of all company premises
\nCoordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor service delivery
\nMaintain a professional and well-organized working environment
\nFleet & Transportation Management<\/p>\n
Supervise company vehicles, drivers, and transportation scheduling
\nEnsure proper vehicle maintenance, fuel control, and regulatory compliance
\nOptimize vehicle utilization and transportation cost efficiency
\nMonitor driver performance and enforce safety standards
\nGeneral Services Operations<\/p>\n
Manage office support services including cleaning, messenger, and logistics functions
\nEnsure availability and control of office supplies and consumables
\nOversee administrative support activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
\nImprove service delivery efficiency across all general service functions
\nVendor & Contract Management<\/p>\n
Manage relationships with external service providers (cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.)
\nMonitor vendor performance and service delivery standards
\nSupport contract negotiation, renewal, and compliance processes
\nEnsure cost-effective and quality service provision
\nCompliance & Safety<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
\nImplement workplace safety procedures and emergency protocols
\nConduct regular inspections and risk assessments
\nPromote a culture of safety and accountability
\nBudget & Cost Control<\/p>\n
Prepare and manage general service budgets
\nMonitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
\nEnsure efficient use of resources and cost optimization
\nTrack and report on operational expenditures
\nTeam Leadership & Performance Management<\/p>\n
Lead and supervise general service staff including drivers, cleaners, and office assistants
\nAssign duties, monitor performance, and provide coaching
\nBuild a disciplined, accountable, and high-performing team
\nImprove staff productivity and service quality
\nAbout You
\nMinimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
\nExperience<\/p>\n
4\u20136 years of relevant experience in general services, operations, or administrative roles
\nExperience in facility and fleet management is highly preferred
