The CPIMS Officer assumes the responsibilities given under the purpose and undertakes his\/her regular tasks in accordance with a well-defined framework of policies and procedures under immediate supervision.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Key Accountabilities Include;<\/p>\n<p>Project Planning, Implementation and Monitoring<\/p>\n<p>Ensure the information on the individual case files registered under case management are safely and accurately synchronized into the CPIMS+ data base, and exported on a regular base.<br \/>\nReview the quality of the data, identify any inconsistency and report the project team members and line manager for corrective and follow-up actions<br \/>\nMake sure each step of the case management process is maintained properly, and Support the data collection process to ensure data quality.<br \/>\nResponsible for ensuring all data protection and information sharing protocols are observed while managing information<br \/>\nClosely support the Child Protection Officers, and Case Management teams on the use of CPIMS+ including filling of the case management forms, data backups, and proper use of devices.<br \/>\nEnsure handling and\/or configuration of tablets &amp; software update is according to set standards and provide support in maintenance<br \/>\nMonitor technical problems associated with the system and devices to make troubleshooting when necessary.<br \/>\nManaging and maintaining camp\/IDP and host community level CPIMS+ to the level of high-quality standard.<br \/>\nProvide induction to new case management staff joined CP and facilitate refreshing training, and on-job support on new features of the system.<br \/>\nParticipate in CPIMS+ biweekly meetings concerning case management and related administration issues. Contributes to ongoing reflection and learning within the team to improve programme performance.<br \/>\nAlerts team members about recurring problems &amp; communicates updates on issues in a timely manner to ensure productivity;<br \/>\nPerform CPIMS+ Data synchronization on weekly bases, connect tablets with Internet\/WIFI and make sure that the data collected offline goes into the main database in collaboration with CPiE team including charging tablets.<br \/>\nPerform Data harmonization with key stakeholders such as Ministry and Bureau of Women and Social Affairs, RRS, UNHCR, UNICEF (CPIMS+).<br \/>\nWork closely with the Emergency Project Coordinator, CPiE officers and case management team on the roll out of the CPIMS+ at West Gondar and East Gojjam Zones.<br \/>\nPerform any other activities as delegated by line manager.<br \/>\nEnsures that Plan International\u2019s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International\u2019s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.<br \/>\nProgram Liaison, Coordination and Networking<\/p>\n<p>Mentor and support social workers and other child protection staff and develop a positive team spirit to encourage innovative and quality programming.<br \/>\nCollaborate with other Project Officers to ensure the integration of CP into other sectors such as Education, Health, Sanitation and Nutrition etc programs.<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain skilful and effective communication and working relationships with relevant partners including children, families, community leaders, government stakeholders and other implementing partners.<br \/>\nCoordinate, and facilitate regular meetings with the community, children and implementing agencies and sectors including preparation of agenda and circulate the minutes of the child protection working groups (coordination body) meetings;<br \/>\nInteract with Government and other partners, NGOs, UN and bilateral agencies in the different stages of CP project implementation and follow up on agreed points;<br \/>\nMonitoring and Evaluation<\/p>\n<p>Initiate\/participate in periodic program review meetings with partners and community members.<br \/>\nSupport the CP team in ensuring the availability of accurate, complete and up-to-date information required for effective Child Protection program implementation, follow-up, review, and M&amp;E.<br \/>\nRegularly review and give feedback on the child protection project information management system and follow-up and report on the progress of the CPIMS data.<br \/>\nPrepare quality reports of project activities on regular basis and share with relevant actors as directed by the Child Protection coordinator.<br \/>\nSafeguarding Children and Program Participants (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)<\/p>\n<p>Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International\u2019s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed per the appropriate procedures.<br \/>\nEnsures that all staff in the unit\/function\/department are properly inducted on and understand their role in upholding Plan International\u2019s safeguarding and GEI policies;<br \/>\nEnsures that Plan International\u2019s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day-to-day work.<br \/>\nEnsures that Plan Ethiopia contributes to Plan International\u2019s global efforts to ensure safeguarding and GEI, including making sure that relevant reporting and data are submitted.<br \/>\nAbout You<br \/>\nDegree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Information Management, Statistics, Project Management, Data Science or other relevant fields.<br \/>\nAt least 3-years of experience in Information management, Database management, and Data analysis.<br \/>\nExperience with managing child related data, more preferably CPIMS\/CPIMS+.<br \/>\nExcellent understanding of data protection and information sharing protocols.<br \/>\nVery good conceptual understanding of the job<br \/>\nFluency in English\/ verbal and written<br \/>\nHighly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching<br \/>\nAbility to work effectively as a team member and independently<br \/>\nCommitment to PIE\u2019s values<br \/>\nQualifications\/ experience desirable:<\/p>\n<p>Experience working in refugee operations preferred<br \/>\nHighly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures<br \/>\nExperience in producing clear and simple reports, including charts &amp;
