Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Apply technical, process, continuous improvement, and individual\/team development skills to optimize overall brewery improvement and plant performance.
\nTo adopt a safe and professional approach to all aspects of the role as an individual\/team player.
\nResponsibilities & Accountabilities<\/p>\n
Liaise with other Brewing, Packaging, Production Services and Maintenance Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, Contractors, and Shift Managers to ensure continuity of reliable, quality production.
\nAssist other departments when necessary, including but not limited to brewing, engineering, and QA\/QC.
\nHave humility; be open to learning and ideas from others
\nDemonstrate self-awareness and know your strengths and development needs
\nCommit to Occupational Health and Safety standards. Frequently state and articulate that Safety is our No.1 priority. Be visible as an ambassador for safety by behaving safely at all times, always challenging unsafe practices and behaviors of others, and reprimanding where appropriate. Adhere strictly to the site safety rules and systems and equipment operational procedures.
\nTotal ownership of production service on plant and equipment to which they are primarily allocated: operating and cleaning, carrying out maintenance schedules, responding to breakdowns, assessing & monitoring plant performance on an ongoing basis, and attending to all other process duties in a timely manner.
\nAdhere to United Beverages’ safety policy and procedures to achieve Zero Harm for safety, health, environment, and hygiene to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment. Utilize and apply safe systems of working and proactively seek opportunities to improve the work environment.
\nDeliver the best possible plant operation by maximizing plant availability and efficiency of operation through the execution of autonomous maintenance.
\nOptimize product quality through continuous observation and attention to detail, delivering RFT against the United beverage Finished Product Specification on quality and control parameters. Respond to non-conformances in a timely manner to keep the process on track. Apply, record & share learnings or RCAS to prevent re-occurrence.
\nManage the operation of all key equipment to operate within world-class levels of waste management.
\nManage materials, components, and spares required by their plant and equipment
\nOperators must demonstrate flexibility in terms of availability, attitude, and work practices and assist colleagues in breakdowns and maintenance, and conduct RCAS on issues
\nWith support from the section head, achieve production plans and key performance targets and deliver agreed Customer Service levels
\nCompile all reports required, ensuring data accuracy and integrity are built in \u2013 either original reports or those generated automatically. This includes status sheets, check sheets, condition monitoring sheets, etc.
\nApply the standard work procedures of United Beverages.
\nTotal ownership of production service on plant and equipment to which they are primarily allocated: operating and cleaning, carrying out maintenance schedules, responding to breakdowns, assessing & monitoring plant performance on an ongoing basis, and attending to all other process duties safely and efficiently.
\nMaintain inventory as needed. Report all low levels of inventory to your supervisor when necessary.
\nMonitor machine performance, quality defects, breakdowns, and planned downtime
\nPerform his machine CIPs while maintaining our quality-focused SOPs.
\nCommunicate regularly and efficiently with his peers to have a proper shift handover.
\nmust execute any tasks assigned by her\/his supervisor necessary for the business.
\nAbout You
\nRequired Education\/Experience and Key Skills<\/p>\n
BSc Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Diploma\/Level 4 from a vocational-technical school, or other related fields of study.
\nFresh Graduate
\nQualification in Brewing, Packaging, Engineering, or Utilities (as appropriate) is an advantage.
\nDemonstrate understanding of teamwork principles, continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, and problem-solving.
\nRequired Differentiating Competencies<\/p>\n
Knowledge of written and spoken English is an advantage.
\nDemonstrate a detailed understanding of SHE policies, statutory requirements, and responsibilities.
\nDemonstrate an understanding of teamwork principles, continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, and problem-solving.
