The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive study to assess the level of HIV-related stigma and discrimination in the country, and provide recommendations for reducing stigma and promoting inclusive and supportive environments for people living with HIV.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct a comprehensive literature review on HIV-related stigma and discrimination in Ethiopia<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement a mixed-methods study, including both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods<\/li>\n<li>Develop and test study tools, including surveys, focus group discussion guides, and in-depth interview protocols<\/li>\n<li>Collect and analyze data from a representative sample of the Ethiopian population, including people living with HIV, healthcare providers, and community leaders<\/li>\n<li>Identify and document best practices and interventions that have been successful in reducing HIV-related stigma and discrimination in Ethiopia and other countries<\/li>\n<li>Provide recommendations for reducing HIV-related stigma and discrimination, and promoting inclusive and supportive environments for people living with HIV<\/li>\n<li>Develop a comprehensive report detailing the study&#8217;s findings, conclusions, and recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Present the study&#8217;s findings to key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, and community leaders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree (Master&#8217;s or PhD) in a relevant field, such as public health, sociology, psychology, or anthropology<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of experience in conducting research on HIV-related issues, including stigma and discrimination<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in designing and implementing mixed-methods studies, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, and community leaders<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and Amharic, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the Ethiopian healthcare system and cultural context, with a deep understanding of the social and cultural factors that contribute to HIV-related stigma and discrimination<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, or government agencies on HIV-related projects, with a strong understanding of the national and global responses to the HIV
