To lead and manage all tax matters in Ethiopia, ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations while providing strategic tax leadership to support business growth, minimize risks, and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities.
\nAbout You
\nEducation & Certification :<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree is an advantage)
\nCA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
\nHDip in Taxation or recognized tax certification advantageous.
\nExperience:<\/p>\n
8+ years\u2019 experience in tax or financial accounting.
\n2+ years of leadership experience managing teams and financial\/tax processes.
\nExperience in FMCG or multinational environment preferred.
\nStrong working knowledge of local tax laws and IFRS.
\nSkills:<\/p>\n
Tax Compliance & Reporting \u2013 Strong understanding of corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax processes.
\nFinancial Accounting Integration \u2013 Ability to align tax entries and reconciliations with IFRS reporting.
\nAnalytical Reasoning \u2013 Skilled at interpreting tax data and identifying compliance risks.
\nGovernance & Control \u2013 Maintains discipline in documentation and adherence to tax policies.
\nCommunication & Advisory \u2013 Explains complex tax matters clearly to non-tax stakeholders.
