Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prepare and review financial statements and reports
\nManage general ledger, reconciliations, and closing processes
\nEnsure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, VAT, and regulatory requirements
\nHandle tax filings, audits, and liaise with external auditors
\nMonitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning
\nOversee accounts payable and receivable
\nEnsure accurate recording of import-related costs (duties, taxes, forex, etc.)
\nImprove financial processes and internal controls
\nSupervise and support junior accounting staff

\nQualifications & Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
\nMinimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
\nStrong knowledge of Ethiopian tax system, VAT, and financial regulations
\nExperience in import\/export or trading companies is highly preferred
\nProficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
