Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conducts routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
\nInterprets test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and makes recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
\nPerforms visual inspections of finished products.
\nCompiles laboratory test data and performs appropriate analyses.
\nCompletes documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
\nCalibrates, validates, or maintains laboratory equipment.
\nParticipates in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
\nSupplies quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions.
\nReceives and inspects raw materials.
\nInvestigates or report questionable test results.
\nPerforms validations or transfers of analytical methods in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
\nEnsures lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
\nIdentifies quality problems and recommend solutions.
\nParticipates in internal assessments and audits as required.
\nWrites technical reports or documentation, such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses.
\nWrites or revises standard quality control operating procedures.
\nDevelops and qualifies new testing methods.
\nSupervises or instructs other technicians or laboratory assistants.
\nSensory Evaluation (Cupping):- Conduct coffee tasting following Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) protocols
\nEvaluate aroma, flavor, acidity, body, aftertaste, balance, and overall score
\nIdentify defects and off-flavors (e.g., moldy, fermented, earthy)
\nQuality Control:- Verify coffee grades and ensure consistency with company and export standard.
\nMonitor quality during processing stages (washing, drying, hulling, grading)
\nApprove or reject coffee lots based on cupping results
\nSample Preparation.
\nRoast samples to standard cupping profile.
\nGrind and prepare samples accurately for evaluation.
\nMaintain calibration of roasting and grinding equipment.
\nDocumentation & Reporting.
\nRecord cupping scores and detailed tasting notes.
\nPrepare quality reports for management and export teams.
\nTrack trends in quality and highlight issues early.
\nCalibration & Team Alignment.
\nParticipate in regular calibration sessions with other cuppers
\nPerforms other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

\nQualification and Skills<\/p>\n
Education:-<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bsc in Biology, Food Science, Plant Science, or related fields with Cupping Certificate.<\/p>\n
Experiance:-
\n\u2022 above 2 years of relevant experiance.<\/p>\n
Required Skills<\/p>\n
\u2022 Strong interpersonal communication skills.<\/p>\n
