Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maintain accurate financial records using Peachtree accounting software
\nPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
\nCalculate, file, and manage all types of tax declarations on e-tax system (e.g., VAT, withholding, income tax, Pension, profit tax) in compliance with Ethiopian tax laws.
\nEnsure timely reconciliation of accounts and internal control compliance,
\nEnsure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
\nEnsuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
\nPrepare and review all monthly payroll for the company.
\nPreparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
\nPrepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
\nLiaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders as needed.
\nSupervise the accounting team, conduct regular internal audits, and assist with external audits.
\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, HR) to gather, align, and verify data necessary for accurate financial reporting.
\nCollect outstanding payments, register daily transactions, collect receipts and file them.

\nQualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\nMinimum of 3-5 years\u2019 experience in an accounting or finance role.
\nProficient in Peachtree (Sage 50) accounting software is mandatory.
\nStrong knowledge of Ethiopian tax systems and reporting requirements.
\nGood communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
\nEnglish proficiency is
