Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
1. Governance & Compliance<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and financial governance standards
\nMaintain strong internal controls within finance and business analysis functions
\n2. Financial Reporting & Analysis<\/p>\n
Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports
\nAnalyze financial statements, identify trends, risks, and variances
\nProvide cost reports to Heads of Departments (HODs)
\nSupport business decision-making through financial insights
\nCoordinate inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with warehouse and accounting teams
\n3. Cost Control & Budget Management<\/p>\n
Monitor and control costs across departments
\nSupport budgeting and forecasting processes
\nAnalyze consumption of reagents and production materials
\nEnsure proper cost allocation to cost centers
\n4. Contract & Operational Cost Management<\/p>\n
Monitor contractor costs, man-hours, and supplier invoices
\nTrack cost variations and ensure accurate reporting
\nSupport financial control of contract execution
\n5. Metal Accounting<\/p>\n
Maintain and reconcile gold production and shipment records
\nEnsure accuracy in refining and royalty calculations
\n6. Month-End & Balance Sheet Processes<\/p>\n
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
\nParticipate in month-end closing activities
\nEnsure timely and accurate financial close
\n7. Planning & Forecasting<\/p>\n
Support annual planning cycles and forecasting activities
\nConduct financial modeling and improve forecasting accuracy
\n8. Leadership & Team Development<\/p>\n
Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members
\nFoster a high-performance, accountable team culture
\n9. Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
Identify and implement process improvements

\nQualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
\nProfessional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CA) is an advantage
\nExperience<\/p>\n
7\u201310 years of relevant experience in finance, business analysis, or cost control
\nExperience in mining or heavy industry is preferred
\nExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
