Ethio Wetlands and Natural Resources Association (EWNRA) is a non-political, non-religious, and not-for-profit Ethiopian Civil Society Organization focused on sustainable wetland and natural resource management, as well as livelihoods improvement. EWNRA, with funding from NORAD through the Development Fund of Norway, is set to implement the project\u00a0“Improving Rights, Sustainable Livelihoods, and Forest Management in Southwestern Ethiopia”\u00a0in Gambela, Oromia, and the Southwest Ethiopia People’s Regional States. EWNRA is seeking highly qualified candidates for the following positions:<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Under the supervision of the Project Coordinators; the administrative and Finance officer will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Manage project financial transactions, budgeting, and expenditure tracking in line with donor and organizational policies.
\nPrepare financial reports, cash forecasts, and support audits.
\nHandle procurement, payments, payroll, and asset management.
\nMaintain accurate financial and administrative records and filing systems.
\nSupport contract administration and compliance with donor and government requirements.
\nProvide administrative support to project teams and coordination offices as needed.

\nQualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n

Educational Requirements:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
B.A. in Accounting, Finance, business administration or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and administration, preferably with NGOs or donor-funded projects. NGO Experience is an advantage Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting, including donor compliance.
\nExperience:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nAdditional Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nExperience with accounting software (Peachtree) and good computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
\nGood understanding of procurement, asset management, and audit processes.
\nStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
\nAbility to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
\nStrong written and oral English skills for report writing and communication
