Duties and Responsibilities:\u00a0Under the supervision of the Natural Resources and Forestry Program Director, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Project Management:\u00a0Oversee the implementation of project activities across three zones and six woredas, ensuring compliance with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
\nCoordination:\u00a0Serve as the main point of contact between regional authorities, local communities, and donors (NORAD and the Development Fund of Norway).
\nMonitoring & Reporting:\u00a0Monitor and evaluate project progress, providing detailed reports to EWNRA management and donors.
\nCapacity Building:\u00a0Organize training programs and workshops to enhance the capacity of local communities, government officials, and project staff in sustainable forest management and livelihoods.
\nResource Management:\u00a0Ensure efficient resource allocation in line with project guidelines and donor requirements.
\nStakeholder Engagement:\u00a0Facilitate community participation and protect local stakeholders’ rights throughout the project lifecycle.
\nRisk Management:\u00a0Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
\nDocumentation & Compliance:\u00a0Ensure accurate and timely project documentation, meeting EWNRA, donor, and regulatory compliance standards.<\/p>\n

M.Sc. in Forestry, Agroforestry, Natural Resource Management, Watershed Management, Natural Resource Economics and Policy, or a related field.Experience:<\/p>\n
At least 5 years of relevant NGO experience in the management of forestry, natural resource, or environmental projects or programsAdditional Requirements:<\/p>\n
Proficiency in MS Office, GIS, and other relevant software.
\nStrong written and oral English skills for report writing and communication
\nStrong teamwork skills, gender sensitivity, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
