Main Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Leading the full audit cycle by checking tax compliance, verifying financial records, and inspecting accounts.
\nAnalyzing the results of the audit and presenting possible solutions for ineffective financial practices to management.
\nEvaluating company accounting procedures, payroll, inventory, and tax statements to guide financial policymaking.
\nConducting risk assessments to recommend aversion measures and cost savings.
\nFollowing up with management to ensure recommendations are implemented into the company’s financial practices.
\nPlan and execute internal audit, monitoring and evaluation, special investigation and inspection,
\nSupervising junior auditing personnel and implementing their research work into the auditing process.
\nPreparing and reviewing annual audit memorandums.
\nResearching applicable federal and state laws and regulations to ensure the company’s books are compliant.
\nPlan and oversee the auditing process
\nAllocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors
\nReview team members\u2019 work for accuracy and compliance
\nPerform effective risk and control assessments
\nComplete audits on time and submit reports to auditing manager
\nPresent audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
\nCoordinate periodical audits
\nManage the efforts and performance of the internal audit team<\/p>\n
Provide support to the Audit Committee<\/p>\n
Coordinate with and support the activities of the external auditors
\nPerforms other related duties as assigned
\nAbout You
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree (BSc) in Accounting and Finance
\nMinimum of 1 year and up to 5 years of relevant work experience in internal audit
\nSound knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and internal control procedures
\nAbility to analyze financial records and identify discrepancies or risks
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
\nFamiliarity with ERP\/accounting software is an advantage
