The Delivery Driver – Egg Transport is responsible for the safe, timely, and quality-controlled transportation of hatching eggs from breeder farms to hatcheries. The role requires strict adherence to biosecurity standards and continuous monitoring of vehicle environmental conditions (temperature and humidity) to ensure optimal egg viability.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Transportation & Delivery
\nSafely transport hatching eggs from breeder farms to designated hatcheries.
\nEnsure timely delivery according to assigned routes and schedules.
\nHandle eggs with extreme care to prevent damage or contamination.
\nEnvironmental Control Monitoring
\nMonitor and maintain appropriate temperature and humidity levels inside the vehicle throughout the journey.
\nOperate and adjust climate control systems as required.
\nRecord environmental conditions at specified intervals and report any deviations immediately.
\nLoading & Unloading
\nSupervise proper loading and unloading of egg trays to avoid breakage.
\nEnsure correct stacking, ventilation, and secure placement of egg trays.
\nVerify quantities against dispatch documents.
\nBiosecurity Compliance
\nFollow strict biosecurity protocols at farms and hatcheries.
\nEnsure vehicle cleanliness and disinfection before and after each trip.
\nUse protective clothing and adhere to hygiene standards to prevent disease transmission.
\nVehicle Management
\nConduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, tires, brakes, cooling systems, etc.).
\nEnsure the vehicle is clean, sanitized, and in good working condition.
\nReport mechanical issues promptly and coordinate maintenance when needed.
\nDocumentation & Reporting
\nMaintain accurate delivery records, logs, and checklists.
\nObtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
\nReport delays, damages, or environmental control issues to the supervisor.
\nCommunication
\nMaintain regular communication with Hatchery and Logistics team.
