Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\nDesign and develop irrigation systems for agricultural and landscape projects.
\nConduct site surveys and assessments to determine irrigation needs and requirements.
\nPrepare detailed project proposals, including budget estimates and timelines.
\nAnalyze water needs for specific communities or agricultural areas
\nEvaluate the effectiveness of irrigation methods and strategies
\nWork on improving water conservation methods in irrigation
\nCollaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure all irrigation systems are integrated with overall project plans.
\nOversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems.
\nProvide ongoing maintenance and support services for irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
\nDevelop and implement water conservation strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
\nStay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology, and incorporate new ideas and techniques into projects.
\nAbout You
\nBachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing irrigation systems.
\nKnowledge of irrigation system components and their function, including pumps, valves, pipes, and sprinklers.
\nAbility to analyze and interpret data related to soil moisture, weather patterns, and crop water requirements.
\nKnowledge of irrigation system regulations.
\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and
