Major Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Conduct and support Antenatal care, post-natal care, delivery services and newborn care
\nProvide Family Planning counseling and contraceptive services
\nEnsure delivery plan with all registered pregnant women.
\nEnsure referral of obstetrical emergencies
\nLink Sexual Assault Survivors to Clinical, Psychosocial Care and other SGBV services.
\nProvide health education, particularly on MCH including IYCF and RH\/FP
\nEnsure that all specified MCH activities are implemented, documented and reported.
\nLiaise and ensure strong linkages with other services like Nutrition, U5 health, Adult health, SGBV, Hygiene & sanitation services.
\nProvide social and behavior change communication (SBCC) that promotes demands for RH\/FP services.
\nPrepare and share quality weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Daily reports for specific activities may be requested occasionally.
\nRepresenting IRC at SRH meetings and task force meetings at Woreda level.
\nEnsures that RH\/FP interventions are applied as per the standard protocols, policies, and guidelines of MoH and WHO.
\nPerform any other related duties as required

\nEducational Requirements:<\/p>\n
MSc\/BSc\/Diploma in Midwifery
\nMinimum work experience of 1 year for MSc and 2 years for BSc and 5 years for diploma holders.
\nPreferred experience & skills:<\/p>\n
At least two years of clinical experience in directly running RH, including family planning, antenatal care, delivery, postpartum care, comprehensive abortion care, neonatal care, understanding and familiar with adolescent-friendly Reproductive health care services.
\nUp-to-date knowledge of comprehensive clinical RH management practices and its guidelines are advantageous.
\nKnowledge of culturally sound IEC\/SBCC material on SRH and HIV\/AIDS topics.
\nAbility to be in remote and under pressure areas and understanding the cultural context of the local area.
\nBasic supervisory\/managerial skills with strong inter-personal skills.
\nStrong analytic problem-solving skills
\nNGO experience in emergency health response project activities is preferable.
\nDemonstrable experience in working with communities in participatory approaches and capacity building of health centers.
\nAbility to plan, prioritize, and supervise implementation of emergency health response projects.
\nGood technical and report writing skills with computer skills and knowledge.
\nKnowledge and skills in Microsoft Office
\nSelf-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual and ability to constructively address gaps and weaknesses.
\nLanguage Skills:<\/p>\n
Excellent verbal and written communication in English is required and local language is advantageous.
