A. Responsibilities and Deliverables<\/strong><\/p>\n

The selected external consultant will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n

Pre- and Post-Training Assessments:\u00a0Design and administer a short pre-training test to assess baseline knowledge of psychological first aid, stress management, mental health awareness, and self-care practices. Conduct a post-training evaluation to measure learning outcomes and training effectiveness.
\nTraining Delivery:\u00a0Deliver a one-day, in-person training in Arbaminch focusing on\u00a0Psychological First Aid (PFA)\u00a0as the main module, while integrating subtopics including stress management, work-life balance, burnout prevention, mindfulness, and team wellbeing.
\nParticipatory Methods:\u00a0Use interactive approaches such as group discussions, role plays, simulations, and mindfulness exercises.
\nTraining Materials:\u00a0Prepare comprehensive manuals, handouts, and digital resources as applicable.
\nPost-Training Resources:\u00a0Provide reference materials (e.g., guides, toolkits) for continued learning and reinforcement.
\nReport Writing:\u00a0Submit a concise final report including:Key findings from pre- and post-assessments.
\nParticipant feedback and training impact analysis.
\nRecommendations for future wellbeing interventions tailored to emergency project staff.
\nB. Logistical Scope<\/p>\n

Number of participants:\u00a0Approximately 20-25 emergency project staff.
\nMode:\u00a0In-person, one-day training.
\nLocation:\u00a0Arbaminch, Ethiopia.
\nTravel Requirement:\u00a0Consultant must travel to Arbaminch to deliver the training.
\nC. Desired Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n

The ideal consultant\/service provider should possess:<\/p>\n

A master\u2019s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, organizational development, or a related field.
\nProven experience in\u00a0Psychological First Aid (PFA), stress management and wellbeing training.
\nMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in designing and delivering wellbeing programs for humanitarian or emergency response staff.
\nExperience working with international NGOs.
\nStrong facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
\nFamiliarity with specialized training approaches for emergency contexts.
\nExcellent report-writing and analytical skills.
\nFluency in English and fluency in local languages
