Duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
Financial Transactions<\/p>\n
Check and verify payment request documents before processing the payment
\nMake payments using internet banking, cheque, bank letter or other payment methods
\nRecord invoices in the financial system and follow-up the invoice\u2019s approval process until it is finally approved
\nEnsure timely delivery of VAT\/WHT receipts to suppliers
\nMake sure the payments are made for the approved invoices in the financial system and on the other hand, make sure it is deducted from the bank account
\nPrepare and process monthly staff payroll and deductions in the system
\nRecord collected revenues in the system based on deposit slips
\nFollow-up and settle receivables that the finance expert has recorded by himself and settle it
\nEnsure timely clearance of outstanding balances and invoices.<\/p>\n
Departmental Planning
\nAssist in the development and implementation of finance department plans aligned with organizational objectives.
\nProvide recommendations and scenarios for budget utilization and financial procedure improvements<\/p>\n
Financial Reporting & Documentation
\nMaintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
\nSubmit financial documents in a proper transaction detail order.
\nAssist in compiling reports for internal and external audits.<\/p>\n
Expenditure & Cash Flow Management
\nMonitor daily transactions and ensure timely processing of payments.
\nAssist in forecasting financial needs and expenditure planning.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Internal Control
\nEnsure financial transactions comply with public financial management laws and regulations.
\nAssist in risk assessments and internal control checks.
\nSupport audits by providing necessary documents and explanations.<\/p>\n
Use of Financial Systems
\nUtilize financial management systems like IFMIS or ERP for data entry and reporting.
\nEnsure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems.
\nGenerate financial reports using accounting software<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Coordination
\nAssist in financial communication with banks
\nSupport collaboration between finance teams and auditors
\nProvide financial data and document for decision-making.<\/p>\n
