{"id":29861,"date":"2026-04-01T13:34:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T10:34:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/beleqet.com\/vacancy\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=29861"},"modified":"2026-04-01T14:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T11:14:14","slug":"associate-public-information-officer-nob","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/beleqet.com\/vacancy\/job\/associate-public-information-officer-nob\/","title":{"rendered":"ASSOCIATE PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER, NOB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within delegated authority, the Associate Public Information Officer may be responsible for the following duties: \u2022 Tracks, researches and analyzes information related to Africa Hall\u2019s historical legacy and institutional role, ensuring accuracy and alignment with official UN narratives. \u2022 Drafts\/compiles specific type or types (e.g. print, broadcast, etc.), of information communications products for target audiences, to include press releases, media packets and reports, brochures, briefings, video clips, newsletters, websites, etc. including briefs, brochures, web content, talking points, and reports, in line with UN communication standards. \u2022 Organizes the clearance, production and distribution of information material; conducts photo and graphic research. \u2022 Prepares, on the basis of official UN documentation and other sources, initials drafts of articles or chapters for inclusion in UN newsletters, periodicals, reports and books in relation to the Africa Hall. \u2022 In consultation with others identifies and proposes information opportunities, activities and approaches, taking into account the situation\/topic and target audience. \u2022 Identifies key contacts\/constituencies and opportunities for strategic partnerships with diplomatic missions, donors, international organizations, cultural institutions and other target groups to facilitate messaging related to Africa Hall activities. \u2022 Organizes or participates in the organization of conferences, seminar, press briefings, interviews, etc.; prepares briefing materials for senior officials prior to their participation in events held at the Africa Hall \u2022 Responds to a variety of inquires and information requests internally and externally;
