Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International\u2019s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed per the appropriate procedures.
\nEnsures that all staff in the unit\/function\/department are properly inducted on and understand their role in upholding Plan International\u2019s safeguarding and GEI policies;

\nThe Individual<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in\u00a0Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Gender Studies, Law, Human Rights, Political Science, or other relevant social science fields (Master\u2019s degree preferred).
\nMinimum 5\u00a0years of progressive professional experience out of which 3 years on a senior level experience
\nin protection programming, including Child Protection and\/or Gender-Based Violence in humanitarian or development contexts.
\nDemonstrated experience in\u00a0designing protection strategies, developing project proposals, and leading protection interventions.
\nProven experience providing\u00a0technical guidance and capacity building\u00a0to program teams, partners, and government stakeholders.
\nExperience working with\u00a0government institutions, UN agencies, NGOs, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms\u00a0at national or sub-national levels.
\nExperience in\u00a0needs assessments, program monitoring, and evaluation\u00a0within protection programming.
\nDemonstrated experience in\u00a0training facilitation, workshop organization, and mentoring of staff and partners.
\nExperience working with\u00a0major humanitarian donors\u00a0and understanding donor compliance and reporting requirements.
\nStrong ability to work effectively in\u00a0complex, multi-cultural, and fast-paced humanitarian environments,\u00a0including willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
\nKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of\u00a0child protection and gender-based violence issues\u00a0in humanitarian and development contexts.
\nGood understanding of\u00a0international protection frameworks and standards,\u00a0including CPMS, GBV Minimum Standards, safeguarding, and protection principles.
\nAbility to\u00a0analyze protection-related data and contextual trends\u00a0and translate findings into programmatic recommendations.
\nStrong\u00a0analytical and strategic thinking skills\u00a0with the ability to plan and prioritize in complex environments.
\nStrong\u00a0proposal development, report writing, and documentation skills.
\nExcellent\u00a0communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, including experience delivering trainings and workshops.
\nProven ability to\u00a0build and maintain effective partnerships\u00a0with government institutions, humanitarian actors, and community stakeholders.
\nAbility to mentor and provide technical support to program teams and partners.
\nCapacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in demanding and fast-paced settings.
\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
\nWillingness to travel to remote field locations including refugee camps often for extended periods depending on need
