Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
The Intern will be part of the Communication Service Unit for the Sustainable Economic Growth Sector.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
Communication strategy:\u00a0provide support in the implementation of a communication and visibility strategy
\nCommunication products:\u00a0assist in the preparation of communication and visibility products
\nContent:\u00a0assist in writing and designing social media posts, articles and other communication products
\nDesign:\u00a0prepare concise and visually appealing presentations, reports or designs
\nDocumentation and monitoring:\u00a0manage audiovisual and publications and support communication monitoring
\nEvent:\u00a0provide logistical and conceptual support for workshops, events and meetings
\nAdministrative:\u00a0Provide administrative support to the project team as requested

\nQualifications<\/p>\n
Graduates that are allowed to reside and work in Ethiopia who finished their studies within the last year with a degree in Communications, English language or Literature, International Relations, or a related field
\nStrong proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of other AU working languages is an advantage
\nBasic knowledge of graphics design and familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage
\nStrong writing and editing abilities to create clear, concise and engaging materials
\nA good eye for aesthetics, storytelling and visual branding
\nAbility to conduct online research, analyse data and synthesise complex information
\nProficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail
\nProactive, resourceful and eager to learn
