Job Title: Senior Nurse

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Nurse to join our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading by example, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care, assessing patients’ needs, and developing and implementing care plans
• Lead and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to junior staff
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and ensure that all documentation is completed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• BSc Degree in Nursing from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting
• Registration with the Ethiopian Nursing Council
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a rapidly changing environment
