About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Mobile App Developer to lead the end to end technical development of our next generation mobile platform.
Inspired by the complexity of ride hailing systems, this product relies on real time capabilities and high performance architecture.
This is a leadership level position where you will take full ownership of the system design, API architecture, database modeling, and infrastructure deployment.

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering a seamless and scalable ecosystem.
You will work closely with product managers and designers to transform complex requirements into a fluid mobile experience.
You will build the React Native frontend and the NestJS backend while integrating real time features through Socket.IO and managing our PostgreSQL database with Prisma ORM.

This is a full-time paid remote position open to candidates located within Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop a high performance React Native mobile application featuring live tracking and booking flows
Architect and implement a robust and secure backend using NestJS and TypeScript
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas using Prisma ORM including indexing, relationships, and migrations
Build RESTful APIs and WebSocket based real time communication using Socket.IO
Deploy, configure, and monitor production services on Ubuntu VPS using Nginx, PM2, and SSL
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability to handle high concurrent traffic
Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce engineering best practices across the entire stack
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure the technical implementation aligns with the product vision

Qualifications & Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience
Proven track record of building ride hailing, delivery, or logistics style mobile apps using React Native
Deep expertise in system design, API architecture, and database modeling
Strong experience with NestJS and TypeScript in enterprise grade environments
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM for schema design and query optimization
Hands on experience managing Linux VPS servers including setup, Nginx, and process management
Technical expertise in real time communication using Socket.IO
Excellent understanding of JWT, REST, and secure coding practices
A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing relevant production level projects is required
