Re-advertisement (ToR) To Hire a Service Provider (SP) for Monitoring, Institutional Capacity Building, and Reporting for Financial Service Providers (FSPs) in Woldiya

Brief Summary

We are seeking a qualified Service Provider (SP) to undertake monitoring, institutional capacity building, and reporting for Financial Service Providers (FSPs) in Woldiya. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the effective delivery of financial services to our clients. This is a re-advertisement, and we encourage interested and qualified service providers to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular monitoring visits to FSPs in Woldiya to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide institutional capacity building support to FSPs, including training and mentoring on financial management, governance, and risk management
  • Develop and implement a reporting framework to track the performance of FSPs and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders
  • Facilitate collaboration and coordination among FSPs, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to promote a supportive environment for financial inclusion
  • Identify and document best practices and lessons learned from the monitoring and capacity building activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial sector development, microfinance, or a related field, with a focus on monitoring, capacity building, and reporting
  • Proven track record of working with FSPs, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to promote financial inclusion
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the Ethiopian financial sector regulatory framework and policies
  • Ability to travel frequently to Woldiya and other parts of the country as required
