Job Title: Public Health Care (PHC) Support Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Care (PHC) Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the public health care team, ensuring the effective implementation of public health programs and services. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the public health care team in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of public health programs and services
• Assist in the development and dissemination of public health information, education, and communication materials
• Facilitate training and capacity-building programs for health care professionals and community workers
• Support the collection, analysis, and interpretation of public health data to inform program planning and decision-making
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, to promote public health care services and programs
• Assist in the development of reports, proposals, and other documents to support public health care programs and services

Requirements

• BSc degree in Public Health, Health Education, Nursing, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 2 years of experience in public health care, preferably in a support officer role
• Strong knowledge of public health principles, practices, and programs, including disease prevention and control, health promotion, and health education
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience with data analysis and reporting software
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
