Job Title: Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to women, including prenatal care, delivery, and treatment of diseases related to the female reproductive system. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to women, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and delivery services
  • Diagnose and treat diseases related to the female reproductive system, such as cervical cancer, endometriosis, and menstrual disorders
  • Perform surgical procedures, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and other gynecological surgeries
  • Conduct routine examinations, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to provide coordinated care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology

Requirements

  • MD or MBBS degree in Medicine, with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized university
  • Must be registered with the Ethiopian Medical Association and have a valid license to practice in Ethiopia
  • At least 3 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecological procedures, including surgical techniques and medical management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound medical decisions in emergency situations
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
