About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused, and highly skilled Nurse to join our growing clinical team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and care planning
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical condition, and pain.
Identify patient needs and prioritize care accordingly.
Ensure all planned interventions are properly documented.
Clinical care and procedures
Performs radiology procedures as per standard protocols.
Assessing the diagnostic quality of the image.
Transfers post processed images to PACS/DICOM. Burn to CD and Publish images.
Assists radiologists during specific procedures.
Works on any of the imaging modalities (X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT-Scan, and MRI)
Comply with all ETA and AAFDA requirements.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Identify complications or adverse reactions and take appropriate action with the team
Ensure timely reporting and escalation of critical patient conditions.
Daily check equipment listed on the inventory check list book.
Performs daily quality control tests, and report incidents timely
Use equipment in compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
Patient safety and Infection Prevention
Maintain a clean, safe and therapeutic environment.
Ensure safe handling of equipment and biohazard materials.
Promote patient safety by identifying and minimizing risks
Advise diabetic patients who take metformin to hold taking it for 48 hours after intravenous contrast injection is given.
Communication and Documentation
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records.
Provide clear handover reports during shift changes
Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on the imaging procedure type, contrast, and post imaging care.
Explain and inform all patients about procedures before scanning.
Responds to patient and requesting clinician questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
Teamwork and Professional Conduct

Maintains patient confidentiality.
Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork and decision-making.
Attend meetings, training and continuous development (CPD) activities.
Quality Improvement and Compliance
Participating in clinical audits, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and national health care regulations.
Report errors, incidents, and near misses according to protocol.
Support implementation of clinical of clinical standards and guidelines.
Operational Responsibilities
Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with Nursing, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
Support patient flow, admissions, discharges, and referrals.
Assist in ensuring proper billing and documentation where required
N.B; Additional duty may be assigned to different units or shifts(day/night/weekends) as required.
Duties may be updated based on service needs, organizational changes, or professional development.
About You
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
• Degree Medical Radiology Technology
• Valid professional license to practice in Ethiopia.
• Minimum experience of 2 years.
• Training in advanced procedures.
• Experience of working in a healthcare institution with special emphasis on diagnostic imaging.
• Experience of working in an institution that is ISO certified will be an added advantage.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
• Experience in using radiology systems and information technology skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop alternative solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
