Key Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment such as X-ray, CT, and MRI machines to produce high-quality images of the body.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly to ensure accurate images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any unusual reactions or incidents to the radiologist or other medical staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all images are properly labeled and stored.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical imaging and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiology Technology from a recognized Ethiopian university or college.
• Registration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health or other relevant professional body.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Medical Radiology Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment and procedures, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
