Job Description

1. Role Overview

We are looking for a pioneering Lead Nurse to serve as the clinical heart of our organization. You will not just provide care; you will manage a system of care. You will be responsible for supervising a team of caregivers, ensuring 100% compliance with our 35 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and providing the highest level of clinical transparency to our clients and their families.

II. Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision: Monitor daily vitals, medication adherence, and recovery logs for all active clients.

Staff Leadership: Train, mentor, and audit home caregivers to ensure they follow the Dignity standard and clinical protocols.

Intake & Assessment: Conduct the initial in-home clinical assessment (SOP 01) for new clients and develop personalized care plans.

Specialist Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for our on-call Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, and Psychologists.

Family Communication: Utilize the SBAR Protocol to provide weekly “Digital Health Summaries” to family and family sponsors.

Quality Audit: Perform surprise home spot-checks to ensure hygiene, safety, and protocol compliance.
About You
III. Qualifications & Requirements

Education: BSc Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

License: Must have a valid and current Certificate of Conformity (COC) and Ethiopian Nursing License. Experience: 3–5+ years of clinical experience (Home care, ICU, or Emergency experience is a major plus). Language: Fluency in Amharic and English (Required for Diaspora communication).

Mindset: A “Systems-First” thinker who believes that documentation and protocols are the keys to patient safety. Skills: Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and basic computer/smartphone literacy for digital reporting.
