Job Description
Job Summary:
Collecting, labeling, preparing, and processing biological, chemical, or environmental samples (blood, urine, tissue).
Conducting routine and specialized tests using lab equipment, analyzing results, and identifying abnormalities.
Setting up, calibrating, cleaning, and maintaining laboratory instruments (microscopes, cell counters, automated analyzers).
Accurately recording results, preparing detailed reports, and presenting findings to scientists or managers.
Ensuring adherence to quality control, safety regulations (like OSHA), and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Assisting scientists and medical staff with experiments, research, and product development.
Work Environments:
Medical/Clinical Labs (diagnostics), Research Facilities, and Industrial Quality Control Labs.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience
Level IV/ Diploma Lab Technician
1 plus years’ work experience
Renewed professional license
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Professional ethics, Understandable communication, Key role player in a team, produce quality service delivery, Problem solving, Confidentiality, and
Excellent Computer application skill (Microsoft office packages like word, excel, power point, internet, etc.) and how to operate electronic machines (Copier, scanner, fax).
