Job Title: IT Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies and plans to align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
• Manage IT projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Provide technical support and training to staff on IT systems and applications
• Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems, including data backup and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize IT needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in IT and make recommendations for innovative solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles
• Strong technical skills, including experience with IT infrastructure, network systems, and software applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
• Certifications in IT management, such as ITIL or CompTIA, are an asset
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an advantage
