Job Title: Consultancy Firm for Endline Project Assessment – Eth_ Education and Child Protection Integrated Program

Brief Summary

We are seeking a reputable consultancy firm to conduct an endline project assessment for the Eth_ Education and Child Protection Integrated Program in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region (SNNPRS) and Sidama. The successful firm will be responsible for evaluating the project’s overall performance, identifying key achievements, and documenting lessons learned. The endline assessment will provide critical insights into the project’s impact and inform future programming in the education and child protection sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive endline assessment methodology, including data collection tools and a sampling framework
  • Conduct a thorough review of project documents, including the project proposal, logframe, and progress reports
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various stakeholders, including project staff, beneficiaries, and government officials
  • Assess the project’s progress towards achieving its intended outcomes and impact
  • Identify key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned during the project implementation period
  • Develop a comprehensive endline assessment report, including recommendations for future programming
  • Present the endline assessment findings to the project stakeholders, including the donor, government officials, and project staff

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting evaluations and assessments of development projects, particularly in the education and child protection sectors
  • A team of experts with a strong background in education, child protection, and social sciences, including a team leader, researchers, and data analysts
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing assessment methodologies, including data collection tools and sampling frameworks
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations
  • Experience working with international donors, government agencies, and local organizations in Ethiopia
  • Fluency in English and Amharic, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, sociology, or economics, with a Master’s degree or PhD preferred
