Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will work closely with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, and develop strategies to improve the overall infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, and cloud services
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of the IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the infrastructure is up-to-date and running efficiently
• Provide technical support and guidance to the IT team and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, network, and cloud services
• Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Certifications in IT infrastructure management, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, are an added advantage
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an added advantage
