Impact Finance Manager – Ethiopia

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Impact Finance Manager to join our team in Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our impact finance portfolio, developing and implementing financial strategies, and ensuring that our investments have a positive social and environmental impact. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve our impact finance goals and objectives
• Manage our impact finance portfolio, including monitoring and reporting on financial performance and social and environmental impact
• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential investments, including assessing risk and return on investment
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including investors, partners, and portfolio companies
• Collaborate with our team to identify and pursue new investment opportunities and partnerships
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from a reputable Ethiopian university, such as Addis Ababa University or Jimma University
• At least 5 years of experience in impact finance, private equity, or a related field, with a proven track record of success
• Professional certification, such as CFA or CPA, is an advantage
• Strong understanding of the Ethiopian financial sector and regulatory environment
• Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills, with experience using financial software and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
• Willingness to travel frequently, both within Ethiopia and internationally
