Job Title: ICT Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled ICT Manager to lead our Information and Communication Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s ICT infrastructure, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of all systems and technology. This is a senior role that requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and improvement in our ICT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ICT strategies and plans that align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all ICT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
• Ensure the security and integrity of all ICT systems, including data protection and backup systems
• Lead and manage the ICT team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the effective operation of all ICT systems
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize ICT needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Manage ICT budgets and ensure cost-effective use of ICT resources
• Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies and make recommendations for their adoption and implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in ICT management, with a proven track record of success in leading ICT teams and implementing ICT strategies
• Strong technical expertise in ICT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure
• Experience with ICT security and data protection, including backup and disaster recovery systems
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide ICT teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Ethiopian ICT laws and regulations, including the Ethiopian Telecommunication Agency’s guidelines and standards
• Certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, or ITIL would be an added advantage
