Job Title: General Practitioner

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team of medical professionals. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations, diagnose and treat patients with various medical conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests as necessary
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and healthy lifestyles
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research studies to continuously improve patient care and outcomes

Requirements

• MD or MBBS degree from a recognized Ethiopian university or a foreign university recognized by the Ethiopian Ministry of Education
• Completion of a one-year internship program in a recognized hospital or health institution
• Registration with the Ethiopian Medical Association and a valid medical license to practice in Ethiopia
• At least 2 years of experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
