Job Title: Finance Intern

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team at Beleqet Jobs. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced finance team, gaining hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, preparing you for a successful career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Help with budgeting and forecasting, including data analysis and financial modeling
• Support the finance team in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Conduct financial data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
• Assist in the implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Participate in special projects, such as financial audits and compliance reviews

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new financial software systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Ethiopian financial regulations and standards, such as the Ethiopian Accounting and Auditing Standards
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
