Job Title: Finance Head

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Head to lead our financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The Finance Head will play a key role in driving business growth, improving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective financial operations
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, and regulatory bodies
• Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements, implementing changes to optimize financial performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior management role
• Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian financial regulations, laws, and standards
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
