Dialysis Nurse

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and emotional needs prior to, during, and after dialysis treatment
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or complications
• Administer medications and fluids as prescribed by the physician
• Operate and maintain dialysis equipment, including troubleshooting and reporting any technical issues
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
• Educate patients and their families on dialysis treatment, disease management, and self-care techniques
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment

Requirements

• BSc degree in Nursing from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Valid licensure to practice as a nurse in Ethiopia
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dialysis setting or a related field
• Completion of a dialysis training program or certification in nephrology nursing
• Strong knowledge of dialysis principles, procedures, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Proficiency in Amharic and English languages, with ability to communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds
