Job Title: Deputy Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Finance Manager to support the Finance Manager in leading our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of financial strategies, managing financial planning and analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in developing and implementing financial strategies and plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• Manage financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Oversee financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal policies and procedures
• Manage and supervise a team of finance staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a similar industry or organization
• Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, is an advantage
• Proven experience in financial management, planning, and analysis
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and supervise a team
• Proficiency in financial management software and systems, including Excel, and other financial tools and technologies
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
