Data Analysis & Reporting Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analysis & Reporting Officer to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain databases and data systems to support business intelligence and analytics
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance and validation procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with data visualization and reporting, with a portfolio of examples demonstrating expertise
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Professional certification in data analysis or a related field, such as Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), is an asset
